"Lux" is a surreal techno-thriller where a sincere police officer is pulled into a hidden digital world— a place where apps come alive and the line between user and used is blurred. After being betrayed in the real world, he must fight an AI queen who knows everything about him — including the sins he tried to forget.
Set at the intersection of reality and cyberspace, Lux explores themes of privacy, guilt, redemption and the terrifying potential of sentient technology.
THE STORY
Karthick is cheating on his wife, Anjali. Addicted to his phone, he ignores her more each day—until Anjali catches him red-handed. But the real heartbreak? The woman he’s been secretly involved with is none other than her best friend, Sowmya.
When the three confront each other, Anjali breaks down. She never expected such betrayal—from either of them. She questions them both relentlessly. In the end, Anjali is left half-relieved, while Karthick is weighed down with guilt… and a terrifying new question:
If he wasn’t talking to Sowmya… then who the hell was he talking to?
Determined to uncover the identity of his “secret sweetheart,” Karthick, a sincere police officer, begins investigating. It should’ve been easy. But what lies ahead is nothing he could’ve predicted.
It costs him his life.
Yes—Karthick is murdered. The mystery remains unsolved. The secret sweetheart… still unknown.
Until Karthick wakes up.
Not in heaven. Not in hell. But in a surreal, high-tech afterlife. The skies ripple with fish. Buildings pulse like jelly. Red currents of electricity glow around him. Everything is strange—and someone, something, begins to chase him.
Karthick remembers nothing. Not Anjali. Not his job. Not even his sins.
Then he meets Lux—a dangerously charming fraudster in this bizarre world. Karthick is drawn to her. They unite.
What follows is the biggest scam ever pulled.
But wait…
Is Karthick really dead?

Welcome to the Lux World — a surreal, sci-fi afterlife.
This world isn’t made of streets and skies. It’s made of code, current, and control. Fishes swim across the air like it's water. Jelly-like skyscrapers ripple with electricity. Gravity is a choice. Memory is a glitch.
Every inch of this place runs on data streams, user histories, and algorithmic whispers. It’s as if the entire internet collapsed into a single living, breathing, sentient city — constantly listening, storing, and manipulating.
The tone is part-dream, part-nightmare — a fluorescent blend of beauty and chaos. Neon jellyfish hover silently. Circuit patterns shape mountains. Words spoken in the real world echo as distorted glitches in the air.
Here, emotions have a digital weight. Secrets float like files. Love, guilt, and betrayal aren’t just memories — they’re programmable.
What makes this world unique? It’s not a simulation.
It’s not the future.
It’s the other side of your smart speaker —
and you were always inside it.
World Setting
Approximately 50% of the movie will feature animation, crafted using the Unreal Engine. Known for its extensive use in game creation, this rendering engine is utilized in projects such as "The Mandalorian," "Ford v Ferrari," "Westworld," "Space Sweepers," "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," "Finding Dory," and "The Matrix Awakens."
Of the remaining 30% of the movie, half will consist of interior shots from various locations which is executed with Virtual production, while the other 20% will showcase exterior scenes.

In a world where we whisper secrets to smart speakers and pour our lives into apps, Lux dares to ask:
What if your data had a mind of its own?
This story is relevant now more than ever, as AI grows smarter, privacy grows thinner, and people grow more digitally exposed—yet emotionally disconnected. Lux taps into that silent fear:
"Is someone—or something—always listening?"
But beneath the tech-thriller surface lies something raw and human: betrayal, redemption, the chaos of relationships, and the eternal search for truth—even after death.
It’s a story for everyone who’s ever loved blindly, been broken by trust, or questioned reality in an overly connected world.
On a personal level, this story was born out of an obsession with dual lives: the one we live in the real world, and the one we unknowingly feed online. Lux is the emotional collision of both.
